About Me

I grew up in Wheaton, IL where I played football and wrestled. I have been wrestling since I was in elementary school. I went to Northern Illinois University and majored in Mathematics Education. While in college I worked for the university as a Community Advisor. Right after college I got a job as math specialist at a middle school. In December 2012 I got a job teaching math in North Carolina. I taught Algebra 2 and Discrete Math there. I also coached wrestling and tennis while I was there. I graduated with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Digital Learning and Teaching from American College of Education in the summer of 2017.

I love traveling. Some of the more recent places I have been is Ocean Isle and the outer banks of North Carolina. I have spent time in the UP (upper peninsula, the part of Michigan that isn't connected to Michigan) and out west in Wyoming and South Dakota. I saw shipwrecks, lighthouses, bears, big horn sheep, buffalo, wild donkeys and so much more.
